Solar Innovations™ also offers, glazed Garden Windows, or greenhouse windows, which can be used to replace a standard flat window with a gardener’s in-home haven. Garden windows project outward from the existing structure to create a shelf or set of shelves, commonly used to house plants, including flowers and herbs. Custom garden windows are designed to allow plants which thrive on sunlight to grow to their maximum potential. Wood options include solid Mahogany or Spanish Cedar. Upon special request, laminates of Western Red Cedar, Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir, and Northern White Pine (straight eave applications only). Redwood and Cherry can be integrated into your structures depending on final engineering requirements.
Garden Windows by Solar Innovations™ can be customized to fit any size opening and meet the specification of the customer. Operable windows, including casement and awning windows, can be incorporated into the fixed garden window to allow for ventilation and a custom design. Integral bases can be provided by Solar Innovations™ or the units can be designed to install on an existing base.

All of our window configurations are framed by a thermally broken aluminum extrusion and can be combined with a 1" insulated or non-thermal ¼" single pane glazing. Our window configurations come with flanges as a standard for our system; however, we can remove the flanges to allow the window to be placed in any framed opening. Hardware is included.
Solar Innovations™ window systems are available with several decorative options including grids, simulated divided lites (SDLs); beveled, etched or leaded glass; and applied radius or gothic corners.
