Standard Tilt-n-Turn Windows Include:
• One of Solar Innovations’™ seven standard colors.
• 1" insulated glass. Glass make up is 1/8" clear tempered over 1/8" clear tempered with a stainless steel spacer.
• Stainless steel fasteners provide durability and resist corrosion.
• 1/4" tempered over 5/16" heat strengthened laminated glass available.
• Available in a variety of sizes, to a standard maximum of 66" x 108" panel, larger sizes available dependent on engineering requirements.
• Tilt-n-Turn windows of sufficient size can be used as egress doors.
• Configurations available include inswing casement windows, outswing casement windows, hopper windows, awning windows and integrated sidelites and transoms.
• Most configurations are designed to a DP Rating of ± 60 PSF.
• Hurricane and performance testing is ongoing.
In addition to our standard designs, Solar Innovations™ offers "modified standard" Tilt-n-Turn windows and doors. This will typically increase the cost of the standard Tilt-n-Turn window by approximately 15-30% or more depending on the amount of customization involved. Our modified standards allow you to order Tilt-n-Turn windows with shorter lead times for quotes, shop drawings, and manufacturing than completely custom units. This will give you the opportunity to create cost effective windows with a custom touch. |

We define a "modified standard" Tilt -n-Turn window as one which starts as a standard size and requires minimal modifications. Our modified standards are divided into three options. (Please view the drawings and descriptions below. The green shaded area denotes the modifications.) Please make sure to note the modification option and requirements when requesting a Tilt-n-Turn quote. This will help our estimators prepare a more accurate Tilt-n-Turn quote for you.

Tilt-n-Turn Window Option 1 allows you to add a transom. |
Tilt-n-Turn Window Option 2 allows you to add one or two fixed lites. |
Tilt-n-Turn Window Option 3 is a combination of Options 1 and 2. |
We recommend choosing a custom Tilt-n-Turn window if the deviations from the standard are more than the options allowed in the modified standard section. Please be aware that any deviation from our standards or modified standards of Tilt-n-Turn windows typically results in 30-50% or more in increased costs and longer lead times.

- Complete our Quote Request Form. Choose either standard or modified on the form and note the modifications. Be sure to include as much information as possible; all additional details you provide help us supply you with a more accurate Tilt-n-Turn quote.
- Submit your quote request online or print out the form and fax or mail it to us. One of our estimators will contact you within 1-2 business days after we have received the Tilt-n-Turn request and reviewed it.
