Standard skylights by Solar Innovations™ include:

• One of Solar Innovations™ seven standard colors.
• Thermally broken aluminum skylight frame.
• 1" insulated glass (1/8" clear tempered over 1/4" laminated glass with a stainless steel spacer).
• Stainless steel fasteners provide durability and resist corrosion.
  

In addition to our standard skylights, Solar Innovations™ offers modified standard skylights. This will typically increase the cost of the standard skylight by approximately 15-30% or more depending on the amount of customization involved. Our modified standard skylights allow you to order a skylight with shorter lead times for quotes, shop drawings, and manufacturing than completely custom skylights.  This will give you the opportunity to create a cost effective skylight with a custom touch.

This is our standard skylights model.

We define "modified standard" skylights as one which starts as a standard size and requires minimal modifications. Our modified standard skylights are divided into three options. (Please view the skylight drawings and descriptions below. The green shaded area denotes the modifications.) Please make sure to note the modification option and
requirements when requesting a skylight quote. This will help our estimators prepare a more accurate skylight quote for you.

Skylight Option 1 allows you to alter up to two bay widths by either lengthening or shortening one or two of the end bays.	Skylight Option 2 allows you to raise or lower the height of the skylight. This cannot change the roof pitch, only the height of the walls.	Skylight Option 3 is a combination of skylight options 1 and 2.

We recommend choosing custom skylights if deviations from the standard skylights are more than the options allowed in the modified standard section. Please be aware that any deviation from our standard skylights or modified standard skylights typically results in 30-50% or more in increased costs and lead times.

Follow these important steps to find the perfect skylight, or if you choose, download our Skylights Planning Guide.

• Review the Skylights Standard Configuration Guide.
• Select one of Solar Innovations™ standard skylights.
• Decide if you would like an operable skylight, retractable skylight, curb mount skylight, or fixed skylight.
• Determine the desired location of the skylight or skylights.
• Complete our Skylight Quote Request Form. Be sure to include as much information as possible; all additional details you provide help us supply you with a more accurate skylight quote.
• Submit your skylight quote request online or print out the form and fax or mail it to us. One of our estimators will contact you within 1-2 business days after we have received the skylight request and reviewed it.
