We offer several styles and sizes of standard greenhouse designs. Standard greenhouses allow us to reduce lead times for shop drawings and shorten delivery times. Please view our Greenhouse Standard Configuration Guide to see standard options.
Standard greenhouses by Solar Innovations® include:
- One of Solar Innovations'® seven standard colors.
- Thermally broken aluminum greenhouse frame.
- 1" insulated glass (1/8" clear tempered over 1/8" clear tempered with stainless steel spacer).
- Stainless steel fasteners provide durability and resist corrosion, that can occur in greenhouses.
- Roof Pitches of 14.75º or 30º are recommended for greenhouses .
- Curved eave greenhouses have a roof pitch of 14.75º or 30º and bay centers of 30 ½" or 38".
- Terrace doors (3’ x 6’-8") or French doors (6'0 x 6'8").
- Awning or casement windows with crank dyad operators.
- Ridge vents for greenhouse ventilation.
- Motorized intake Shutter fans for greenhouse circulation.

In addition to our standard designs, Solar Innovations® offers modified standard greenhouses. This will typically increase the cost of the standard greenhouse by approximately 15-30% or more depending on the amount of customization involved. Our modified standards allow you to order greenhouses with shorter lead times for quotes, shop drawings, and manufacturing than custom greenhouses and gives you the opportunity to create a cost effective greenhouse with a custom touch.
We define a "modified standard" greenhouse as one which starts as a standard size and requires minimal modifications. Our modified standard greenhouses are divided into three options. (Please view the drawings and descriptions below. The green shaded areas denote the greenhouse modifications.) Please make sure to note the modification option and requirements when requesting a greenhouse quote. This will help our estimators prepare a more accurate quote for your review.

Follow these important steps to find the perfect greenhouse for you or your client’s everyday needs, or if you choose, download our Greenhouse Planning Guide.
• Once contacted, Solar Innovations® will assign a greenhouse specialist to assist you throughout your planning process, from preliminary design through to delivery and installation.
• Your personal designer will work with our estimating and engineering staff to develop greenhouse design concepts and prepare cost estimates. You can provide as much or as little input as you like in the early design stage.
• We will continue to refine the greenhouse design concepts as necessary to ensure that the design requirements meet and exceed your expectations.
• When the proposal is signed, your greenhouse will be fully engineered and detailed. The architectural drawings will be sent to you for your evaluation and approval.
• After receiving final approval from you or your agent, Solar Innovations® craftsmen will fabricate your structure and carefully package the components for delivery.
• Solar Innovations® will work with your installer as needed or aid in the installation of your horticultural greenhouse.
• We will supply you with our written warranty and our commitment to provide service and support long after your greenhouse is complete.
