Greenhouses by Solar Innovations®
Build the Perfect Environment™
Series/Model: SI5000

A greenhouse manufactured by Solar Innovations® is the best option available on the market today. Greenhouses by Solar Innovations® are top quality, built to last a lifetime, and can be designed as a turn-key project. This is a solid investment that will allow you to take your gardening to the next level. No matter what scale of a gardener you are, what you grow, or how much you grow, Solar Innovations® has the greenhouse structure to fit your needs.

A greenhouse interior loaded with accessories and plants

The finest materials are used to construct all of Solar Innovations® greenhouses. Aluminum is used for the framework and glass, acrylic, or polycarbonate will be used as the glazing. The benefit of using aluminum when compared to wood is the time saved in maintenance during a product's lifetime, and durability. There is no rusting, rotting, termite damage, or annual refinishing maintenance when you purchase an aluminum greenhouse.

Glass, acrylic, and polycarbonate are comparable for greenhouse applications. Polycarbonate tends to be less expensive, but does not typically maintain its appearance as well as glass in the long term. A glass structure is more aesthetically pleasing than a poly greenhouse and will blend better with a home's decor. There is also more flexibility in plant growth with glass. Depending on the exact specimen of polycarbonate, it may restrict enough sunlight from entering the greenhouse to diminish growth and blooms in plants. With glass the intensity of light can be controlled by various types of low-e greenhouse glazing choices and shading accessories.

Both a backyard gardener and a professional research horticulturalist can find the right greenhouse configuration with Solar Innovations®. Each greenhouse structure can be completely customized to any size, shape, and color. The styles range anywhere from clean lined contemporary to classic Victorian stylings. Each style can be used on any application whether it is a residential home, an industrial greenhouse, or a commercial growing business. Solar Innovations® also offers a limited line of standard greenhouse kits for the "do-it-yourselfer"; which are available through Solar Innovations® or through Solar Innovations® national dealer database. Solar Innovations® also offers repair and restoration services for existing greenhouses manufactured by other companies.

A residential conservatory style greenhouse installation

After deciding on a greenhouse exterior style, the interior must be planned as well. Greenhouse accessories need to be included or integrated in the structure for it to operate successfully. A non-insulated greenhouse may only need ventilation to keep the air moving and preventing the spread of disease between plants. This can be accomplished with eave and ridge vents, a door, and a few windows. A structure used year round will have not only greenhouse ventilation systems, but heating, cooling, humidifying, misting/watering systems, benches, and shading. Solar Innovations® offers numerous options for greenhouse heating systems including electric, gas, or propane operated systems. The same is true for greenhouse watering systems; options include misting and drip systems. Solar Innovations® can provide a turn-key greenhouse installation which means that, through our national dealer netowrk, we can supply you with everything needed for the greenhouse: design, manufacturing, installation, and accessorizing. You do not have to waste valuable time searching for other companies to complete your installation or provide accessories that may not mesh or function properly in your greenhouse.

Solar Innovations® can also design the interior of your greenhouse to be suitable for people. If you do not have a large quantity of plants, Solar Innovations® can design a greenhouse conservatory which includes a sitting area with furniture as well as ample space and accessories for your plants. This will result in a wonderful venue addition to sit and read a book, or to entertain guests. Whatever greenhouse you have in mind, Solar Innovations® can help you build it.
