Solar Innovations™ folding glass wall and folding glass window systems blur the line between indoor and outdoor environments. Folding glass walls and bifold doors will enhance the function and beauty of every style of room from your living room to your deck, pool enclosure or conservatory. We tailor glass types, color, and accessories, depending on your wishes, to create a unique focal point or to blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment. We offer all-wall, split-wall, single door, double door, bifold door, segmented radius, and cornerless folding glass wall and window systems.

Standard folding glass wall (bifold door) and window systems by Solar Innovations™ include:

• One of Solar Innovations™ seven standard colors.
• Thermally broken aluminum frame.
• 1" insulated glass. Glass make up is 1/8" clear tempered over 1/8" clear tempered with a black spacer.
• Corrosion-proof hinges.
• Stainless steel fasteners provide durability and resist corrosion.
• All stainless steel bearings.
• Bottom load.
• Recessed sill.
• Out-fold/in-fold option with out-swing/in-swing operable door option.
• Flush bolt in either black, white, or clear anodized.
• Hinge and hinge covers in either black, white, or clear anodized.
• Pull handles in either black, white, or clear anodized.
• Lever handles in either black painted, satin chrome, or simulated polished brass.

In addition to our standard folding glass walls and windows, Solar Innovations™ offers modified standard folding glass walls and windows where 20-40 square feet can be modified. Customizing the wall panels will increase the price at least $20-30 per glass area square foot of transoms and side lites. Our modified standards allow you to order a folding glass wall with shorter lead times for quotes, shop drawings, and manufacturing.  This will give you the opportunity to create a cost effective folding glass wall with a custom touch.

We define a "modified standard" folding glass wall or folding glass window as one which starts as a standard size and then is altered by adding one or two fixed lites(panels) and/or adding a transom. (See drawing below. The green shaded area denotes the modification.) Please make sure to note the modification when requesting a quote so one of our estimators can prepare a more accurate quote for you.

Folding Glass Wall Option 1 allows you to add a transom.	Folding Glass Wall Option 2 allows you to add one or two fixed lites.	Folding Glass Wall Option 3 is a combination of Options 1 and 2.

We recommend choosing a custom folding glass wall if the deviations from the standard are more than the options allowed in the modified standard section. Please be aware that any deviation from our standards or modified standards typically results in 30-50% or more in increased costs and lead times.

• Select one of Solar Innovations™ standard folding glass wall and bifold door systems.
• Determine if you need a top or bottom load system and if you want the bifold doors to be in-fold or out-fold.
• Choose from standard, ADA compliant, and high performance sill options to create the flexibility to fit virtually any application.
• Decide if you want to include any decorative options (i.e. grids, simulated divided lites (SDLs) , or raised decorative panels).
• Complete our Folding Glass Wall Quote Request Form. Choose either standard or modified on the form and note the modifications. Be sure to include as much information as possible; all additional details you provide help us supply you with a more accurate folding glass wall or bifold door quote.
• Submit your Folding Glass Wall quote request online or print out the form and fax or mail it to us. One of our estimators will contact you within 1-2 business days after we have received the request and reviewed it.
