We tailor glass types, colors, and accessories, depending on your wishes, to create a truly unique focal point or to blend seamlessly into the surrounding architecture.

Standard curtain wall systems by Solar Innovations™ include:           

• One of Solar Innovations™ seven standard colors.
• Thermally broken aluminum system.
• 1" insulated glass. Glass make up is 1/8" clear tempered over 1/8" clear tempered with a stainless steel spacer.
• Stainless steel fasteners provide durability and resist corrosion.

In addition to our standard designs, Solar Innovations™ offers modified standard curtain walls. This will typically increase the cost of the standard curtain wall by approximately 15-30% or more depending on the amount of customization involved. Our modified standards allow you to order a curtain wall with shorter lead times for quotes, shop drawings, and manufacturing than completely custom units.  This will give you the opportunity to create a cost effective window wall or curtain wall with a custom touch.

We define a "modified standard" structure as one which starts as a standard size and requires minimal modifications. Our modified standards are divided into three options. (Please view the drawings and descriptions below. The green shaded area denotes the modifications.) Please make sure to note the modification option and requirements when requesting a quote. This will help our estimators prepare a more accurate quote for you.

Curtain Wall Option 1 allows you to add up to two windows and/or side lites.	Curtain Wall Option 2 allows you to add a door, window, and/or transom.	Curtain Wall Option 3 is a combination of Options 1 and 2.

We recommend choosing a custom curtain wall and window design if the deviations from the standard are more than the options allowed in the modified standard section. Please be aware that any deviation from our standards or modified standards typically results in 30-50% or more in increased costs and lead times.

Please follow these important steps to find the perfect curtain wall to suit your requirements.

• Review the Curtain Wall Standard Configuration Guide.
• Select one of Solar Innovations™ standard curtain walls or windows.
• Determine the location of the curtain wall within your existing structure or new construction.
• Complete our Quote Request Form. Choose either standard or modified on the form and note the modifications. Be sure to include as much information as possible; all additional details you provide help us supply you with a more accurate curtain wall quote.
• Submit your quote request online or print out the form and fax or mail it to us. One of our estimators will contact you within 1-2 business days after we have received the curtain wall request and reviewed it.
