Series 2255 Commercial French and Terrace Doors
Commercial Terrace Doors and Commercial French Doors by Solar Innovations® are the perfect addition to new construction and renovation projects. Our exterior doors create a functional, ADA compliant entrance for any commercial location. Commercial terrace doors are often used in hotels, restaurants, and clothing boutiques. Solar Innovations® can provide screen systems for our commercial exterior doors in numerous forms including storm doors, traditional screen doors, and horizontal or vertical retractable panels, available with motorized options. Terrace doors by Solar Innovations® can also be retrofitted into traditional construction as well as greenhouses, pool enclosures, and maintenance areas.
Our innovative glass or polycarbonate door designs come in both out-swing and in-swing options. Polycarbonate tends to lend itself to a more modern feel by way of its fluting. Shipping costs are reduced when selecting polycarbonate because it weighs less than glass. Glass can be used in any industry available form. Low-e glazing's are very practical for commercial use for two reasons. The first is that the glass minimizes uv-rays penetrating the room. This means that desired temperatures are more stable and easier to maintain. The second benefit to low-e glazing are its fade reduction technologies. UV rays cause fading to any object within the room such as furnishings and window treatments. The low-e glass helps to slow down and minimize the progress of fading. Impact glass, along with Florida Hurricane rated products, are available depending upon size requirements.

All terrace door frames are constructed of durable aluminum which makes the doors low maintenance and long lasting. The doors will not rust, rot, warp, or need constant maintenance to the finish for years to come. Solar Innovations® offers eight standard colors for the frame, two of which are anodized. Clear anodized and dark bronze anodized options are available on all of our doors and are excellent for commercial applications. The anodized finish is stronger and more durable than paint and will wear better against the constant gripping and touching of the door.
Wood veneer options are also available on the interiors of all terrace doors. The veneer is applied with an industrial strength adhesive and will not crack or fall apart. Various species are available including pine, mahogany, fir, and birch. The doors are shipped to you un-finished so that you can pick the desired stain and saturation.
All product selections, from configuration to finish, hardware, screen option, and adornment are custom; we will make our doors fit your opening and architecture.

The commercial door systems are equipped with a standard MS lock with hook bolt, 4" bottom rail, one pair of offset pivot hinges, surface mounted closer with back check non-hold open preset, 1" glass stop, and standard push/pull hardware. Panic hardware may be added to our commercial doors upon request. Solar Innovations® terrace doors are ADA compatible.

Solar Innovations® door systems are available with several decorative options including grids, simulated divided lites (SDLs); beveled, and applied radius or gothic corners. Corresponding transoms and side lites can be created out of the same terrace door framework to ensure the sight lines are consistent.
