With the increased use of in-home technology and busy everyday lives, many Americans are not getting the important exposure to sunlight that is needed for healthy living. Sunlight radiates Ultra-Violet light (UV light) which interacts naturally with the body to create Vitamin D.

Vitamin D is recognized as a preventative source against:
- Cancer
- Osteoporosis
- Depression
- Flu
In addition, Vitamin D helps to keep normal blood levels of calcium and phosphorus in the body; both calcium and phosphorus are integral elements in preserving bone strength and density. Once deficient in Vitamin D, replenishing those levels may take several months. The natural creation of Vitamin D in the body cannot occur with simulated sunlight. Natural sunlight is needed for the process of making Vitamin D to initiate.
