Very recently, Solar Innovations completed installation on a high performance enclosure system at 5225 Wisconsin Avenue in Washington, D.C. This project is a straight eave, lean-to enclosure, with two gable ends and a 6 inch think cantilevered insulated metal panel roof system that is finished with a Rheinzink cladding. The project also features four multi-track sliding door systems and a commercial door, with the commercial door having a sloping sill member to accommodate the architect’s design specifications. The whole project is coated in Rheinzink to match the existing building. It also utilizes 272 insulated glazing units. The structure also features a custom “deep” cover cap that runs the entire way around the structure. Solar Innovations was called in to design and manufacture this structure because of a unique requirement for this structure to be deconstructed within a 24 hour period.
Straight eave sunrooms by Solar Innovations™ are the most versatile in design. Solar Innovations™ offers our straight eave sunrooms in all of our aluminum systems, as well as in our wood system. Many of our competitors do not offer true double pitch sunrooms; instead, they attach two lean-to sunrooms to a capped, wooden ridge beam with visually unappealing results. Solar Innovations™ true double pitch sunrooms use internally welded I-beams at the apex of our sunrooms or aluminum ridge beams for a more aesthetically pleasing sunroom.
Solar Innovations™ appreciates your interest in our feature products.
