Fogging Systems & Accessories by Solar Innovations, Inc.

Fogging systems by Solar Innovations, Inc. provide a gentle hydration solution for tropical plants and delicate greenery. A fogging system is related to a misting system, but each serves a different purpose. A misting system dispenses large droplets of water into the atmosphere. The droplets fall onto the plants where they remain until evaporation occurs. 

Solar Innovations, Inc.'s advanced fine-mist foggers range in size from small to mid-sized and can accommodate a wide range of cooling and humidification needs. Compact, lightweight, and easy to install, these stand-alone units do not require a high pressure pump or air supply line. Foggers create a cool mist; this mist is created through the use of a specialized fan housing. Fogging systems fill automatically, have continuous running capabilities, and will not soak or over water vegetation.

Reccomended Humidity Levels for Plants

Solar Innovations, Inc. offers several accessories to compliment foggers:

  • Pre-wired humidistat that provides an ideal means of control, incorporating in a fast acting sensor element with an easy access control dial.
  • An oscillator which enables the fogger to move from side to side, covering a range from 60° to 360°.
  • Pre-wired thermostat control to automate your fogger.
  • Cycle timer control that will provide a way to maintain a high humidity environment. This control includes a watertight enclosure and four different cycle ranges.

OrchidHigh Pressure Fogging System
An alternative to misting systems is the use of a high pressure fogging system. High pressure systems atomize water molecules in the air to almost instantly cool an area. These systems are set to a pre-determined temperatures or humidity and when the air reaches a certain temperature or humidity level, the fogger kicks on and the water is dispersed. This method can be used for cooling purposes and certain situations can serve the same purpose as an evaporative cooler. The water is dry when it enters the air, because of the atomization process.
